I listened to your story and get it totally. In fact, if you care to connect with hundreds of people who are living this way and we have uplifting meetings on the phone, on video (zoom), and more. Lots of us have this same story and more. I think you would enjoy our group of "missing people". Its called www.chronicpainanonymous.org. Click on the resource tabs and listen to some of the stories we have recorded and read some of our literature and visit a meeting if you wish. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Sad but hilarious, as usual. Wonderful to hear your voice! Since I worked there for many years but never during Covid, I was surprised at your lack of care in the hallway. I trust things got better that day.
Iām also an ER frequent flyer! Very funny and yes, that third person wanting to do an EKG, that is real, my friends. All of this is real. Next time Iāll ask for the closet. Great work, Natalie!
I work in a hospital (with an exit plan) and all I do is laugh and cry all day due to the hellscape of absurdities. The docs are leaving too. šµāš«
Great Jeopardy bio. You managed to write about this ordeal with humor. Iām guessing that helped you get thru it. š

I don't know how you can make a hospital entertaining lol. The hospital themed shampoo commercial had me rolling š
Having just spent all day last Sunday in an urgent care center, I sympathize. My nurses were nice though. Not friendly, but at least cordial lol.
But did they give you an EKG?
